As skier’s were swishing down the mountain, 16 bidder’s were gathered inside the luxury Bear Paw Lodge unit A11 for the opportunity to bid for ownership. The campaign was executed with precision, maintaining contact with over 180 families that had expressed interest. Our sales staff showed the condo to over 50 families. The bidders traveled great distances for the auction opportunity, including as far away as Chile, Montreal and Paris. Stacy Kirk, Executive VP of Interluxe, expresses “We are grateful for the relationship we have with Real Estate company Gateway Land and Development. The buyer from Mexico City, Mexico had been considering the unit for several years when it was listed traditionally and Real Estate agent Eustaquio Cortino convinced him that now was the time to buy!” The afternoon ended with the drop of the gavel at $1,991,000, a celebratory applause, and to much relief of both buyer and seller. Both had been waiting a long time for these great results. The buyer will be closing in 10 days, just in time to enjoy the very last of the ski season. Kirk says “Congratulations to all for a great auction.”
