*Once inside the Elk River Club Community gates, follow Elk River Parkway for 2 miles. Make a left turn onto Summit Park Drive. Property will be on your right.

 

 

From Charlotte, NC: Take I-85 South from Charlotte to exit 17 for Highway 321 North. Follow Highway 321 North for 70 miles. Turn left onto Sunset Drive and then make a right turn at the first cross street onto Ransom Street. In 0.3 miles, make a sharp left turn onto Main Street, then turn left onto US-221 S / Yonahlossee Road (about 1.5 miles). Turn right onto State Road 1552. In 3 miles, turn left onto Shulls Mill Road. Follow Shulls Mill Road for 5.5 miles then take a slight left onto NC-105 S. After 6 miles, turn right onto NC-184 N. After 4 miles, turn left onto Main Street W and then a slight left onto NC-194 S / Main Street W (follow NC-194 S). Elk River Club is at 539 Banner Elk Highway (NC 194). Entrance to Elk River Community/ Elk River Parkway is just past this address on the left. Estimated drive time: 2 hours, 37 minutes.

 

 

From Greensboro, NC: Take I-40 West towards Winston-Salem. After 28 miles, take exit 188 to merge onto US-421 North towards Yadkinville/Wilkesboro for 80 miles. Use the left lanes to turn left onto US-221 South and continue straight onto NC 105 South for 13 miles. Make a right turn onto NC-184 North. After 4 miles, turn left onto Main Street W and then a slight left onto NC-194 S / Main Street W (follow NC-194 S). Elk River Club is at 539 Banner Elk Highway (NC 194). Entrance to Elk River Community/ Elk River Parkway is just past this address on the left. After 2 miles, turn left onto Summit Park Drive. Estimated drive time: 2 hours, 40 minutes.

 

 

From Wytheville, VA: From I-81 South towards Bristol, take exit 29 for VA-91 towards Glade Spring/ Damascus. Turn left onto VA-91 South and follow for 13 miles. Take a slight right to stay on VA-91 South, taking you into Tennessee when the road becomes TN-91 South and follow for 10 miles. TN-91 South turns left and become US-421 South / N. Shady Street, continue to follow US-421 South for 18.5 miles, crossing into North Carolina. Turn right onto US-321 North for less than a mile. Make a left onto Mast Gap Road and follow for 2 miles. Make a right turn onto NC- 194 South, after 1.4 miles, make another right turn to stay on NC-194 South, and then another right turn after 1.2 miles to stay on NC-194 South. Follow for 7 miles. Elk River Club is at 539 Banner Elk Highway (NC-194). Entrance to Elk River Community/ Elk River Parkway is just past this address on the left. Estimated drive time is 2 hours, 7 minutes.

 

 

From Knoxville, TN: From I-40 East. Use left lanes and take exit 421 for I-81 North towards Bristol. Follow i-81 for 56 miles. Take exit 57A to merge onto I-26 E for 15.5 miles. Take exit 24 to merge onto TN-67 E / US-321 North and follow for 4.5 miles. Turn right onto TN-67 East and then make a right turn onto Gap Creek Road. Continue onto TN-362 South. Turn right onto State Highway 2377 / TN-362 South and follow for 5.5 miles. Continue onto TN-361 East for 2.4 miles. Turn right onto US-19E South and follow for 17 miles, entering into North Carolina. Turn left onto NC-194 North, and follow for 5.9 miles. Elk River Club is at 539 Banner Elk Highway (NC 194). Entrance to Elk River Community/ Elk River Parkway is just before this address on the right. Estimated drive time is 2 hours, 18 minutes.

 

 

From Asheville, NC: From I-240 East, merge onto I-40 East towards Statesville. Follow for 19 miles. Take exit 72 for US-70 towards Old Fort/Mountain Gateway Museum. Continue on US-70 East for 9 miles. Turn left onto NC-80 North and then in 2 miles, turn right onto Toms Creek Road. After 2.5 miles, turn left onto US-221 North. Turn right onto NC-183 South, turn left to stay on NC- 183 South for 3.5 miles. Turn left onto NC-181 North and follow for 3 miles. Make a slight right onto US-221 North, after 3 miles, turn right to stay on US-221 North. Make a left turn on NC-105 North. After 4 miles, make a left turn onto NC-184 North. After 4 miles, turn left onto Main Street W and then a slight left onto NC-194 S / Main Street W (follow NC-194 S). Elk River Club is at 539 Banner Elk Highway (NC 194). Entrance to Elk River Community/ Elk River Parkway is just past this address on the left. Estimated drive time: 1 hour, 54 minutes.

 

 

From Spartanburg, SC: From US-221 North / N. Church Street. Continue straight onto N. Church Street. Continue onto SC-9 North / Boiling Springs Road for 2.3 miles. Take a slight right onto Parris Bridge Road / State Road S-42-43 and continue to follow Parris Bridge Road for 12.8 miles. Make a right turn onto Sanders Road / State Road S-42-72, entering into North Carolina. Continue onto Jess Lamb Road for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto WV Thompson Road then a slight right onto Broadriver Church Road. Turn right onto Big Island Road and follow for 6.4 miles. Turn right onto Poors Ford Road and follow for 1.6 miles. Turn left onto US-221 North and follow for 25.8 miles, turn left to stay on US-221 North for another 26 miles. Turn right onto NC-183 South for 4.5 miles. Turn left onto NC-181 North and follow for 3.3 miles. Make a slight right onto US-221 North and after 3 miles, turn right to stay on US-221 North. Turn left onto NC-105 North and follow for 4 miles then make a left onto NC-184 North. After4 miles, make a left onto NC-194 South / Main Street W. Elk River Club is at 539 Banner Elk Highway (NC 194). Entrance to Elk River Community/ Elk River Parkway is just past this address on the left.
